Now; consider it's as good as 40 meters from the bottom to your first stop, should you put in some additional 'Pyle' stops (say one every 10 meters for 1 min)?  *Pyle stops are a good idea and help reduce micro bubble formation*

Including Pyle stops, your ascent now looks like this:

Your ascent rate, according to Buhlmann, should be 10 meters per minute, so don't forget to account for this.  For example,  it will take you 1 minute to ascend  from 50 meters to 41 meters; another minute from 41 to 31 meters, and so on.   This is often referred to as travel time.

 So lets have another look at that ascent.
